O Holy Night is the second album of Laura Pattillo which reunites Laura’s angelic voice with the talents of Emmy award winning composer Kurt Bestor. This is an all-new recording of Christmas favorites to bring peace and joy to your holiday season. From the artist – “To some christmas means presents beneath the tree. To others, it’s children’s laughter. For me, christmas is the time to thank god for sending us his son. Let us all take time to give thanks for the greatest gift of all.” O Holy Night is available here on my site as an immediate download, or a physical CD shipped to your home. While singing with a group of small children from church, a little boy turned to me, raising his hand and asked, “Are you an angel?” His innocent question has become one of my favorite compliments. My singing made him think of heaven. Music has been a part of my life since I was a young girl. I started piano when I was 6, played in band for many years, and grew up watching old Roger and Hammerstein musicals. I got my first vocal solo in 5th grade playing Alice in Alice in Wonderland. I began singing in earnest when I turned 18 and then handed my life over to the pursuit of a vocal career.
Music invades every inch of my soul. I have seen people cry, sob, smile, laugh, dance, and reminisce all because of music. Sometimes I am blessed to be the vessel they hear this music from. Music touches emotions, it causes us to feel. And this is why I love doing what I do. Music touches my heart and I am able to use it to touch others’ hearts as well. That is my goal as a musician; to touch hearts. My music is meant to uplift your soul and gladden your spirit. My hope is that those who hear me, like that little boy, will also be able to find that little piece of heaven here on Earth.
“As I was listening to your vocals and the instrumentation… the spirit was so strong, I just cried. Thank you for sharing your amazing voice and singing the words that I’m needing to hear right now.”
